This former cattle ranch was restored into a 1,267-acre wetland and is now considered one of the best birding and wildlife spots in Central Florida.  We will meet up at the Polk Nature Discovery Center for 90-minutes of exploration of the reserve and later regroup at the garden home of Michael Rowe for a brunch.
